A quick, one-pan Cajun dish loaded with flavor — spicy sausage, tender cabbage, and a creamy low-carb sauce that tastes like comfort in every bite.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz smoked andouille or kielbasa sausage (sliced)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cups green cabbage (shredded)
  • 1 small onion (sliced)
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp Cajun seasoning (or to taste)
  • ¼ tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions 

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add butter. Sauté sliced sausage until browned. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add onion and garlic; cook until soft and fragrant.
  • Add cabbage and spices, stir to coat, and cook 5–7 minutes until tender.
  • Pour in cream and simmer until slightly thickened (about 3–4 minutes).
  • Return sausage to the pan and stir to combine.
  • Taste, adjust seasoning, and serve garnished with fresh parsley.
