Cheesy and hearty keto bacon cheeseburger casserole with seasoned beef, crispy bacon, and melted cheddar. A low-carb, gluten-free dinner that tastes just like your favorite cheeseburger without the bun

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 6 slices bacon (cooked and crumbled)
  • 1 small onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)
  • 4 large eggs
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a medium baking dish.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
  • Add ground beef, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Spread beef mixture evenly in baking dish. Top with half of the crumbled bacon.
  • In a bowl, whisk eggs and heavy cream. Stir in 1 cup shredded cheddar. Pour over beef.
  • Top with remaining cheese and bacon.
  • Bake 20–25 minutes, until golden and set in the middle.
  • Cool slightly before serving.
