Add cold cubed butter and cut into dry ingredients.
Add shredded cheddar and stir.
Add chopped jalapeño and stir.
Add egg and stir until dough forms.
Shape into 8 biscuit mounds.
Bake 18 to 22 minutes until golden.
Rest 5 minutes before serving.
