Ingredients

Pork & Seasoning

  • 3 lbs pork shoulder
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder

Cooking Liquid

  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Instructions 

  • Pat pork shoulder dry.
  • Mix salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and chili powder.
  • Rub seasoning over all sides of the pork.
  • Place pork in the slow cooker.
  • Add apple cider vinegar.
  • Cook on low 8–10 hours or high 5–6 hours.
  • Shred pork in a bowl.
  • Spoon cooking liquid over the meat.
  • Mix to coat evenly.
  • Rest 5 minutes before serving
