Juicy, tender shredded pork slow-cooked with a simple low-carb spice blend and natural pan juices.
Pork & Seasoning
- 3 lbs pork shoulder
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 tsp paprika
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
Cooking Liquid
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Pat pork shoulder dry.
Mix salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and chili powder.
Rub seasoning over all sides of the pork.
Place pork in the slow cooker.
Add apple cider vinegar.
Cook on low 8–10 hours or high 5–6 hours.
Shred pork in a bowl.
Spoon cooking liquid over the meat.
Mix to coat evenly.
Rest 5 minutes before serving
