Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ small onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)
  • 8-10 large lettuce leaves (romaine or iceberg)
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium tomato (diced)
  • 1 avocado (sliced)
  • ¼ cup sour cream

Instructions 

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté 2–3 minutes until softened.
  • Add ground beef and cook, breaking apart with a spoon, until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
  • Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer 2–3 minutes.
  • Lay lettuce leaves on a flat surface. Spoon beef mixture into each leaf.
  • Top with cheese, tomato, avocado, and sour cream.
  • Serve immediately.
