- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ small onion (finely chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt & pepper (to taste)
- 8-10 large lettuce leaves (romaine or iceberg)
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 medium tomato (diced)
- 1 avocado (sliced)
- ¼ cup sour cream
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté 2–3 minutes until softened.
Add ground beef and cook, breaking apart with a spoon, until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer 2–3 minutes.
Lay lettuce leaves on a flat surface. Spoon beef mixture into each leaf.
Top with cheese, tomato, avocado, and sour cream.
Serve immediately.
