Ingredients

Chicken Layer

  • 1.5 lbs chicken breast (cut into bite-size pieces)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Ham & Cheese Layer

  • 1 cup diced ham
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Swiss cheese

Dijon Cream Sauce

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions 

  • Heat the oven to 400°F and grease a baking dish.
  • Season chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Spread chicken in an even layer in the dish.
  • Add diced ham evenly over the chicken.
  • Sprinkle shredded Swiss cheese on top.
  • Combine heavy cream, cream cheese, chicken broth, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and salt in a saucepan.
  • Heat and stir until smooth.
  • Pour the sauce evenly over the casserole.
  • Bake 25–30 minutes until bubbling and lightly browned.
  • Let rest 5 minutes before slicing.
