Ingredients

  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 green onions (sliced)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions 

  • Pour chicken broth into a pot and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Stir in garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Crack eggs into a bowl and whisk until fully combined.
  • Slowly drizzle eggs into the simmering broth while stirring gently in one direction.
  • Cook for 1–2 minutes until egg ribbons fully set.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Stir in sesame oil.
  • Top with sliced green onions before serving.
