The principles behind DailyKeto recipes, guides, nutrition estimates, and corrections.
1. What “keto-friendly” means here
DailyKeto uses “keto-friendly” for food intended to fit a lower-carbohydrate way of eating, usually within a daily range of about 20–50g net carbohydrates. It does not mean zero carbohydrate, and it does not mean that a recipe is suitable for every ketogenic diet or medical need.
On DailyKeto, net carbs are calculated as total carbohydrate minus fibre and stated sugar alcohols. Product labels and individual approaches differ, so check the ingredients and nutrition information that matter to you.
2. Nutrition values are estimates
Nutrition is estimated per serving from ingredient data and typical product labels. Brands, substitutions, drained weights, cooking loss, and portion size can change the result. Optional garnishes and serving suggestions are normally excluded unless the recipe says otherwise.
3. Recipe information
Published recipes are structured so the ingredient list, yield, timings, method, doneness guidance, and nutrition estimate can be compared together. Product-dependent assumptions are called out when a brand or substitute can materially change the result.
Home equipment and ingredients vary. Read the full method before cooking, use visual and temperature cues where provided, and adjust timing when your pan, oven, or ingredient size differs.
4. Updates and corrections
We correct factual errors and update recipes when quantities, instructions, safety guidance, or nutrition information change materially. Minor spelling and formatting fixes may be made without a separate update note. Send a correction or question.
5. Editorial sourcing
DailyKeto publishes and edits its recipe and guide copy. Familiar dishes may use widely known cooking methods. External nutrition or food-safety guidance is attributed where it is useful to readers.
6. Not medical advice
DailyKeto provides general food and cooking information, not medical diagnosis or treatment. Speak with a qualified healthcare professional about therapeutic ketogenic diets, diabetes medication, allergies, pregnancy, or other individual health needs.
